⛺ Family Fun
tWe kicked off summer with a holiday weekend camping trip to
George L. Smith State Park in Georgia, and it was the perfect reset. We spent our days outdoors—hiking the trails, tent camping under the trees, and spending time with extended family. The girls made a million memories with s’mores by the fire and lots of card games (I think I set a world record for worst Shanghai score). School is out now, which means summer hours are in full effect at the shop: Tuesdays through Thursdays, 10 AM to 2 PM EST. We’re soaking in the slower pace and sweet summer moments, and we’re so grateful for your grace during this season.

🛍️ Shop Shenanigans
While we were off camping, the amazing Megan held down the fort—cutting acrylic, packing orders, and keeping things moving. (Can we get a round of applause?) We’re both feeling the creative spark and just applied for a fall seller’s market, where we hope to share some of our handmade bags and connect with our local community. Behind the scenes, the Mission Mini pattern is officially in the works, and we can’t wait to show you what’s coming. In supply news: our webbing restock is finally stateside—huge sigh of relief! But to be honest, we’re also bracing ourselves for potential tariff impacts. Small biz life keeps us on our toes, but we’re staying hopeful and grateful, always.

🧵 Thread Talk
This week, I stitched up a batch of adorable little Trinket Totes—they’re cute, quick, and just the kind of satisfying project summer calls for. Megan may have been temporarily stitchless, but she kept her hands busy with some cozy crochet time (crafty hands can't sit still for long!).
Over in the broader sewist world, we're thrilled to share that some of our favorite designers have teamed up to create something special: the Bag Designers Collection—10 bag patterns for just $40! It’s an amazing bundle and a beautiful example of what can happen when creativity and collaboration come together.
