Shop Update | 10-29-2025

Hey Besties,

I owe you all an honest update and a sincere apology for recent delays and disruptions. The past few months have been incredibly difficult behind the scenes, and I want to be transparent about what’s been happening.

During our move, both of my laser machines were damaged, which caused significant production setbacks. I reopened the shop before I was truly ready — something I knew better than to do — and between ongoing supply chain issues and equipment downtime, things quickly became overwhelming.

On a personal note, I’ve been managing some major mental health challenges, including Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Major Depressive Disorder. Balancing recovery while trying to run a handmade business hasn’t been easy, and I recognize that my struggles have led to slower turnaround times and gaps in communication. For that, I am deeply sorry.

Right now, Carolina Little Stitches is a one-person show again, and I’m working hard to rebuild consistency and sustainability. To do that, I’ve made some necessary changes:

Simplified acrylic options: I’ve narrowed down our available acrylic colors and finishes to ensure quality stays consistent and materials remain reliable.
Retired custom logo tools: I’ve paused all custom logo and branding tool orders. These projects require extensive setup and communication, and I want to focus on producing the items you love most — quickly, accurately, and beautifully made.

Temporary Pause on Acrylic Sales

Starting November 1st, all acrylic item sales will be temporarily closed until December 1st. This pause will allow me to repair equipment, organize materials, and prepare for the new production system.

Ready-to-ship notions and digital sewing patterns will still be available during this time, so you can continue to shop your favorites while I reset behind the scenes.

The Biggest Change: No More Made-to-Order Notions

Going forward, acrylic notions will no longer be made to order. Instead, I’ll be restocking acrylic notions in batches on a regular basis. This shift will allow me to maintain higher quality control, avoid burnout, and ensure faster shipping for everyone.

These updates will help me streamline production, reduce stress, and bring back the creativity and care that make Carolina Little Stitches special.

I can’t thank you enough for your patience, understanding, and continued support through this transition. This community means the world to me, and I’m committed to moving forward with honesty, quality, and a whole lot of heart.

Happy Stitching,
Kayla
